The Hope is a Common Misc Weapon obtainable by trading weapons with the follower Healing Knight.
Usage
Using it will cast a green circle beneath the player and heals their health by 1, similar to Ring green.
It has a cooldown of 12 seconds.

This weapon is only recommended to be used and kept if the character lacks survivability buffs and healing methods.
This weapon can be used during a fight. It provides consistent healing, increasing survivability.
The player can also wait for the cooldown before triggering a battle to properly heal themselves.

- Take an extra weapon into the fight- As it takes a weapon slot, a third slot would be needed on top of an offensive and defensive weapon.
- Improve potion effectiveness- Heals 1 more health.

Trivia
- This weapon was added in Update 2.7.0
- There was a glitch in Update 2.7.3, where one of the assisting NPC knights would grab this weapon and drop their Staff of Light, despite the fact that assisting NPCs aren't supposed to take other weapons.
- The sprite is identical to the "Praying" emote and is a reference to the BiliBili meme in which spectators may say "Hope they're okay" (often accompanied by the emote) when something horrible happens.
- This weapon heals during combat when combined with Taoist's Passive Buff, although the firing interval is based on a typical Follower firing interval; thus, it will only 'fire' after approaching an enemy, and will attempt to fire but heal nothing until it is recharged (12 seconds). While this reduces the energy cost of healing, it leaves Hope unavailable until it's next charge during combat.
