Potions are consumable items that can be found in game. Potions can come in normal or large (L) sizes.
Potions can be found in destructible objects when the player has the Crate Buff, from Vending Machines, in shops or in white chests. Potions of larger sizes can only be found in vending machines or shops. Dumplings can be given by Naughty kids randomly.
There are currently five types of potions:
- Health Pots refill 2 health. Health Pots L (large size) refill 4 health.
- Energy Pots refill 80 energy. Energy Pots L (large size) refill 150 energy.
- Dumplings refill 1 health and 40 energy.
- Restoration Potions refill 1 health and 40 energy. Restoration Potions L (large size) refill 2 health and 80 energy.
- Strength Potion refills 99 health and 999 energy.
The Potion Effectiveness Buff can increase the effect of every potion used.
- For Health Pots, the value is +2.
- For Energy Pots, the value is +40.
- For Dumplings and Restoration Pots, the value is +1 health and +40 energy.
- For Strength Potions, the value is +99 health and +999 energy.
Reusable potions
These potions can be used once per level. After using the potion, the empty bottle can be used as a throwing weapon.
- Reusable Health Pot refills 2 health.
- Reusable Energy Pot refills 80 energy.
- Reusable Restoration Pot refills 2 health and 80 energy.
These potions need to be developed with blueprints before being able to forge in the Workshop, yet are still achievable in multiplayer mode, where the Design Table is ignored.

- Some players report that they get health potions even though they do not have the Potions from Crates buff. The chance of that happening is extremely low.
- Before version 1.4.x, potions could appear in Dungeon Chests.
- During Easter events (Update 1.2.3 and Update 1.7.0), the potions were reskinned as easter eggs, such that small potions were dotted and large potions were striped.
- During the Dragon Boat festival (Update 3.1.2), the potions were reskinned as rice dumplings wrapped in leaves.
- The Restoration Potion were added in Update 1.8.x.
- The reusable potions were added in Update 1.9.0.
